RESERVATION POLICIES
Rates are quoted daily based on single/double occupancy per room and are subject to Michigan 6% sales tax, 8% hotel surcharge and 3% MICVB assessment. Add $20 per additional adult per day. Children 17 years of age and younger stay free in parent’s room. A deluxe continental breakfast is available for all registered guests of the hotel. A two-night minimum stay may be required during peak periods.
CANCELLATION POLICY
2023 Season Reservations can be cancelled with refund of deposit amount less $25.00 cancellation fee if cancelled 11 or more days prior to arrival date. Cancellations 10 or less days prior to arrival forfeit paid deposit amount.
Guests who do not cancel and do not arrive on their scheduled arrival date will be charged a no-show penalty equal to the total cost of the originally booked stay. Refunds will not be given to guests who arrive late or depart early.
DEPOSIT REQUIREMENTS
An advance deposit equal to one night’s stay (room and tax) is required to confirm your reservation. We accept American Express, Discover, MasterCard and Visa. Your deposit will be applied to the final night of your confirmed stay.

Primary guest must be at least 21 years of age or older to check-in. Valid identification required at check-in. Some rates will also require company or membership identification.
Debit and Credit cards will be authorized at check-in for the amount of your stay, plus an amount to cover incidentals. The authorization will hold the funds until check out, at which time the amount actually incurred during the stay will be charged. Unused authorized amounts may take up to 30 days after departure to be released by your bank or financial institution and the hotel will not be responsible for any resulting fees or charges.
PET POLICY
The Harbour View Inn is not a pet-friendly hotel. To respect all of our guests, we ask that you leave your pets at home. A $250 room cleaning fee will be charged to guests to cover the costs to bring the room back to a pet-free condition. Service animals are always welcome. Our staff may ask what task (s) the service animal performs. Please notify us at time of reservation so that we may make our staff aware of your arrival.
SMOKING POLICY
All guestrooms and public areas are non-smoking. Guests violating our non smoking policy will be fined a $250 penalty for smoking in any of our guest rooms.
